You can call her a golddigger. It would be true, but in reality she is just a certain type of woman who has it in her head that men and women have different gender rolls. A real old school approach.

She's the girl who will be at home watching movies all day while you're at work. It has nothing to do with loyalty so she may or may not cheat, that's something else entirely.

I can't say exactly, but from what I see she has that prince in shinning armor complex a lot of girls get from watching too many Disney movies. She'll view you as the man to come save her, pay for all of her bills/meals, and provide a house for the dog and children.

There are women who love to do that. This girl currently isn't one of them. You can:

A: Go game only girls who are the type that likes to treat men
B: Try and shape this girl into the type that likes to treat men

Option A requires you to learn who these girls are and where they are in your city. They are the types with careers and stuff who are more modern in their views on relationships and dating.

Option B requires for you to learn how to shape women. You'll have to keep employing the techniques each and every time you see her until you start seeing the change in her behavior.

I'm sure guys on here know advanced hand gesture anchoring or other advanced shaping methods, but I like 3 simple things.

I ask her a question about the quality. "I saw this girl pick up her date's check the other day at xyz restaurant. It's amazing this day-in age we live in, what do you think?" I just came up with that so it obviously could be improved.

I'll tell her about a friend who already has the quality. Tell her some story about some girl who treated you to a great time or what ever. Every time you see her that friend treated you to something else! Make sure the stories has a nice beginning middle and end. They should at least be 3 lines long.

The third method I use which may or may not work is telling her she has the quality directly. This girl seems like she'll respond by denying the quality entirely. What would I say for this.. "You seem like the type who takes care of herself, but at the same time you can enjoy treating others to a great time. " I just came up with that, but I'm sure a girl would eat that up delivered in the correct context.

Oh...tbh...not getting gold digger vibe from this one. From you asking if this is a foreign woman thing, I'm assuming she's foreign. Based on that, id say it depends. Some cultures women see the mens role as providers and its a turn off if a man doesn't pay for things. Now this is different from gold digging, because gold diggers just take and don't give, unless its just sex. Foreign women, or women who are taught to think like this, typically are also taught to be feminine, pleasing sexually, cooking for their man, rubbing your back, cleaning for you etc. So they give, they just don't pay for stuff. If your girl is this type, shed show these traits. Does she? If she's not and just waiting for you to pay for stuff and take her on dates, she's not a good woman and most likely is a gold digger. If she is the old school don't pay but clean and cook etch for her man type its up to you. I know many guys who actually prefer Spanish women to white or american women because even though they pay for everything, the girl does her part. Some guys prefer to be the provider if it means girl is bending over backward to take care of you over the girl who pays and you cook for her sometimes, she rarely cleans and things are more 50 50. But if she doesn't do anything for you, shes just a gold digger

First of all not all women are feminist, and men are supposed to lead in the relationship. I think it's weird to pay for nights out but I don't see any problem with buying gifts for a guy.

The birthday/christmas thing is stupid though, not everybody cares about those things.

First of all, if a woman told you this it means that at that moment she is trying to demonstrate high social value. Only women who have options and are not desperate will not pay for anything.

Usually not treating financially a man is supposed to be a technique that reassures you that the man is interested in you and is serious being with you. There is a misconception that a man who is paying everything for a woman is a man who most likely propose.
It's an old fashioned way of thinking and it is usually followed by women who are insecure and want to hold on to something to feel that they are not going to be used and then dumped. It goes on the same category with withholding sex until the desired level of commitment.
A gold digger would had never told you things like that. She would had told you whatever you want to listen so she'll gets presents and she would had let you think that one day she is going to make you a present. The day she would had returned the favour would had just never come.
