I'm a little bothered that you guys keep calling insecure. It would worry me to no end if I knew my current girlfriend wanted to keep in contact with her ex. Because how would I ever know that they're not flirting, or gonna meet up sometime. I understand his worry. I would do as some suggested and get some balls and tell her no contact with him, or we're breaking up.

I know I'm late, but this, always fucking this.

Word of caution: If there's kids involved, I can see the necessity of talking to the ex, especially when they're trying to co-parent, it does make life a bit easier on your end because she isn't endlessly bitching about how horrible of a dad her ex is...which ultimately affects your relationship. I don't date girls who have kids though.

Personal experience: If she's talking to her ex, chances are she's fucking him/wants to fuck him.

I dont give ultimatums. I even told her that I dont want to give her ultimatums and tell her what to do, but its unrespectfull in a sense.

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you.
I responded under the impression that they broke up not a long time ago. If that is the case then my advice stands.
If you start bitching to a girl about her to talking to her ex you will push her right into his arms.
If the break up was a long time ago then yes you should tell her its not ok to keep contact.
