So my girl of 6 months tells me she is unsure of the relationship because I don't do those small things like show her affection. She compared me to her best friend's boyfriend who plans surprise birthday or promotion parties for her, she says she ends up questioning whether I care for her or not.

She also says that I am too specific with details and she doesn't want to hear academic details when she gets home (she only cares when it relates to business since she is in a business course and she wants me to teach her business).

I'm legitimately not sure if the first is a shit test or not. Is she trying to make me crumple into giving her more and more cash and tokens? I am deeply confused as to how pick up applies to this aspect of an LTR.

She also says she is unsure if I am the right one for her or not because I do do some things to show her I care but at other times I don't. Is this insecurity or shit test or something else altogether?

I'm really confused with this entire relationship thing. I definitely dont want her to leave but between trying to maintain an apathetic frame (leave me if you want to) and my actual internal want to hold on I feel like I'm coming off as inconsistent. Help?

I think you've probably got a little complacent and her attraction level is dropping.
