A while back I decided to be really lazy and follow advice given by Charlie Harper to Alan in Two and a Half Men.

'Just keep asking questions, no woman ever came home from a date and complained 'cause all she did was talk about herself.'

Following this I decided to do nothing but ask questions all the time. Work, College, friends, family, etc. [HB9 by the way]

Plus points:
From a rapport perspective, it worked! She now does actually open up to me and trust me with a lot of stuff. She says she's like an open book to me and I know more about her than the vast majority of people in her life. Essentially we could go exclusive.

Cons, and the reason I don't want to:
The logic has developed massive narcissism within her. She's become a lot more self centered and now holding a conversation is incredibly boring because the idea of back and forth doesn't exist.

I could list 3 things that are annoying me and her reply would be short sentence followed by some stupid little problem that shes having.

I'm going to try this more in short term game and leading the conversation to personal topics like I did the first because it does genuinely catalyse the entire process of rapport, but after a certain point bringing it back to balance or cutting the thread are the only two sensible options.
