TL;DR if a plate knows a main girl, how to minimize risk she ever tells main girl about us.


Two long-term plates. Girl 2 knows about Girl 1 but not vice versa. Girl 1 will walk if she finds out I’m still banging other girls; this could also be bad for my social reputation and ability to pick up future girls, and she knows some of my coworkers. (Yes, yes, I know, you’re supposed to be upfront with plates you’ll never be monogamous.) I vastly prefer Girl 1 to Girl 2.

Just found out Girl 2 knows Girl 1’s identity (oops), and, if she wanted, could easily contact her through (of course) Facebook.

Girl 2 has never made any such threat, and has mostly been fine with her and my other plates; the exclusivity shit tests have gone away (but she does think that she is the ‘main girl’ and I, foolishly, have let her think this). But I’m losing interest in Girl 2 and I want to cut her loose at some point, without any risk she ever tells Girl 1 and one of them damage my general reputation. (So even just replacing Girl 1 wouldn’t cut it.) Right now the risk is low b/c she’s apparently known for a long time and never contacted her, plus I’m sure she knows she’d lose me if she did.

I figure I need to dump her (or trick her into dumping me) in a way that doesn’t make her angry, prone to seek revenge, or curious enough if I left her for Girl 1 to contact her. I would love some ideas, and critique of these ideas:

- Act beta and lame around Girl 2 until she loses interest and dumps me, or cares less that I dumped her.

- Tell Girl 2 that that I gradually stopped seeing Girl 1 (after some time passes, so Girl 1 doesn’t suspect this is a ruse b/c I just found out she knows Girl’ 1’s name.) After some more time passes, dump Girl 2 for unrelated reasons. Pray she doesn’t reach out to Girl 1. Tricky b/c Girl 1’s distinct red hair strands are always around my car and place.

- Find new girls (which obv I am doing anyway). Gradually talk to Girl 2 about some new girl more and more, eventually dump Girl 2 with some pretext, so that Girl 2 may suspect it’s the new girl, but at least won’t think it’s Girl 1. (As with most problems, the best solution is more new plates, but if I do that and also keep my reputation and Girl 1 intact that is obv best.)

- Try to find Girl 2 some new guy so she dumps me. (Hard to do, Girl 2 used to be a party girl but has become a shut-in - ironically in large part b/c of me).

- Try to entrap Girl 2 into doing something ‘bad’ (like flirting with a fake new guy on FB) so when I dump her she blames herself.

- Create a fake internet presence of Girl 1 and-or a new girl so that if Girl 2 tries to contact Girl 1, hopefully it’ll just be through my fake account. (Downside is Girl 1 will likely notice after a vanity search, and freak out, and I doubt I can displace Girl 1’s ranking in Facebook/Google results.) Maybe create a highly private fake FB profile of Girl 1 that the real Girl 1 can't see (only friends can see it, friends can't see other friends), and friend Girl 2 on it, so that it would become Girl 2's go-to way to contact Girl 1.
