If I could advise him not to have sex with her, I would. But if you've ever had a oneitis break up with you and then come crawling back, there's just no saying no to it. It's one of the most empowering feelings.
Having said that...after she's come back for seconds, thirds, and fourths, that high depreciates because she's enjoying the perks of a relationship without the responsibility. She won't tell you this, but she's there because there's nothing else exciting going on in her life and the second there is, she'll be gone.
I rode that ride for two years with a oneitis. We broke up over distance, and even though we'd fuck like rabbits whenever she visited town, I wanted more. You want more. I decided to date other women when she left town, and while the oneitis was mad the last time she came to visit and found out I'd replaced her, I was just too tired of being in limbo. Riding the merry-go-round with no one winning the brass ring.
