I had opportunities to look through my ex-gf's phone but I never did it, because I didn't want to become that kind of bf. yeah, we've broken up and maybe I would have some more answers had I snooped, but I would rather take a chance on trust.

I understand your logic, I was the same before and I would agree but under the condition that the girl doesn't give you a reason. If I checked my ex's phone earlier (she was literary arranging dates with the ex/other boyfriend while in bed with me) I wouldn't be in a relationship with a slut and would save myself a lot of unnecessary pain and suspicions. On the other side, if I didn't check it I could've still be in a relationship with her or even worst, breaking up with her for other reasons and than having her manipulate me like she tried after.

Girls could be really sneaky and I know for a fact now that two of her exs can't move on with their lives because she is still dragging them and telling them how much she misses them and stuff. As beta as they are I doubt they would be so attracted to her if they knew the truth.
