I was wondering if anyone could provide a bit of an insight as to what a normal relationship should be with a girls parents as her boyfriend. While i wouldnt call it a sticking point it is becoming an issue (just went away with new GF and met parents, grandparents etc, and found it hideously aukward) My last relationship lasted 2 years and i never had more than a 3 sentence conversation with her father, and its not that im shy, i just found him weird as fuck.
Anyway, Advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I am 20
She just turned 17. Although last girlfriend was older than me so i dont think age is an issue.

Location: Romania | | It's easy. Befriend her father.Also play a VERY light game on the mom. You don't wanna try and seduce her,obviously , but you do want her to see you as a very attractive man.Joke around with her , be open ,communicate.
The more open minded the parents are the easier it is to do this.
By doing this you also earn their trust which is...well,very important.
