I hope this is the right section but I really need some advice, I've been with this girl a few months - our relationship is fantastic apart from the distance between us which makes it hard as we don't get to see each other that often

However, one problem I've noticed is that when I want to get a bit flirty with her, I don't get any response or flirting back - she just tends to reply with "hehe:p" I'm really unsure what I'm doing wrong. I love chatting too her about normal things but sometimes I just want a bit of a more flirty chat with her and I don't seem to get anything back. As I said I don't get too see her much so I normally attempt this over BBM and text but it just seems to fail everytime.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

What about when you two are together in person? Does she flirt or say things back then? If not, could just be that she doesn't feel like she knows how to flirt back, doesn't want to say something you perceive as stupid, or just isn't that kind of person.

Easiest way to find out is to just ask her.

Don't flirt via texting or IM. Seriously. It does more harm than good.
