I just started seeing a girl. She's amazing to say the least. Very caring, likes to look out for people, treats me well, always wants to see me and seems to have a lot of love she just wants to push on me. I'm not complaining about all the attention she gives me, I think it's great and I can deal with it but what annoys me is when we're at parties she constantly wants validation from me and craves my attention.

When i'm out I like to talk, have fun and meet new people. I don't like being locked down in one position with one person if there's lots of people around to talk to. This girl, however, constantly seeks me out even when she's talking to some of her best friends. When i'm at a party making myself known, being the interesting person who everyone wants to talk to she ruins any group i've created by sitting beside me then constantly kissing me or looking for kisses or attention. When i'm around she just doesn't want to talk to anyone and won't get involved in my conversations, instead she'll sit there, wait a couple of minutes and then try kiss me.

I've really grown fond of this girl and don't want to piss her friends off by having her hang out of me 24/7 or only want to go out when i'm around. What can I do here? Freezing her out comes to mind but i'd rather not upset her just because she's showing too much interest in me. Of course, if I allow her to continue to get carried away i'm afraid our what we have will burn out quicker than it started.
