Hey all,

I've recently been trying to break out of my current social group (around 6-7 guys and 5-6 girls) and get to know some new people. I'm not leaving them for good, I'd just like some new faces and have other mates!. You know what I mean? It's healthy to have other friends.

Now I've been actively speaking to some new people on my course at Uni and some oldish friends I that I haven't hung out with for over a year. Some of these people are girls who my girlfriend has never met. So my question is:

Is it okay to accept invitations to flat parties from these new people, in particular these girls?

I have a feeling that since my girlfriend doesn't know these girls she would be reluctant for me to go to these new opportunities.

Am I being a beta-**** or am I right in thinking this? THanks !

Why not just invite your girlfriend? If she wants to go, then that's cool. If not, then she at least knows she has the option to go and she wont be as worried about it.

Here's the sticking point:

If YOU are going to go out and party with a load of girls...
Then you must be prepared for your girlfriend to go out and party with a load of girls.

Because she's gunna start doing that, the more you do it.

It's almost a way of getting revenge but girls just do it to keep things even.
