I'm wondering the possible effects this would have. I think it could backfire depending on the type of girl we're talking about. If it's a skank in College, she could go on a binge fuck fest, get herpes, and then when you decide to take her back she infects your ass with the virus.

On the other hand, if this girl is in her 30's, is very meticulous about who she goes out with, doesn't drink a lot, doesn't party till late, she's very responsible, hard working, few friends, then I'm thinking that dumping her ass (for no apparent reason, other than 'I need some time for myself' or 'Things are getting pretty serious, and I'm not sure what I want') might be a good thing.

Problem is that while the dumping move is definitely considered Alpha, the taking her back move could be considered beta. And the purpose of this move is to be even more alpha once you take her back than what you were before you dumped her.

Do you guys have experience with this? Any articles you can link to?

Did that once very long ago...worked great, but i did not do it on purpose, it just happened to work that way...it be interesting to hear it as a technique...probably could work wonders in my situation right now, but dont want to risk it as of yet...

However, in the situation you gave us, I think that dumping this girl will just create problems in the future even if you guys do get back together, because you don't have a legit reason except to just create more attraction. Reading all these posts from you Richard I'm starting to feel you have a huge misconception about what does the term "alpha" mean. An alpha male is a leader, who makes others feel good, and sucks them inside his reality. This is achieved by a calm but at the same time exciting vibe around you. People can feel it. They can feel that you're comfortable and confident, at the same time humorous, charming, and seductive.

Licking your girl's asshole may fit in this category if they really like it, even though most of us find that gross... But dumping her just for the sake of making her chase you over again, with no legit reason is not. It screams from insecurity. You want to manipulate her into wanting you more because you think she doesn't want you enough or what? That's very sneaky and very far from alpha...
