Posts: 93 | | Yep 40 miles isn't long distance in my books. A house mate of mine was more than that. They used to go to each others place on alternate weekends. Worked for them.
I think if the relationship is great then it's not a question of should we do this, it's how do we make this work...

Posts: 9 | | I wrote a huge LDR post without reading the whole thread so it was all redundant. Bad luck man, but dont worry about it.
Having done one which failed, known many which failed and currently being in an LDR, I am fairly qualified to say they can be an absolute bitch. Trust me, in a lot of ways it's worse than being single. I know it probably doesnt help much right now, but in the long run it's probably for the best.
