I've been friends with this girl for almost 3 years now. We met when she was with her boyfriend but recently he broke up with her after 2 and a half years. She's been single for 2 months and we've been hanging out a lot recently. Her and I get along great, we bounce off one another and can literally spend days with one another and never get bored or lose a conversation. One night we decided to have sex and it was definitely the best i've ever had. She's told me via text that she likes me and really enjoys my company. Other times she has told me that she really likes me but when i told her i got a little jealous that a guy was taking her to an amusement park she responded differently. She replied that she's sorry and thought we had an agreement, she wants to be single for now and try to enjoy herself.

I'm in a rough spot right now and dont know what to do, please give me some advice.

Sleye

She just broke up with her almost 3 years boyfriend, give her a break.
Even if you had sex, mostly everything that you do, or say, or places you go will remind her of him. A relationship that long has many scars and memories. She likes you, but if she just got out of a relationship she doesn't want to get into another, maybe she just wants to have sex with all the guys she couldn't when she wasn't single.
Think of it this way, if you break up an almost 3 year relationship. Even if you meet another girl in a few months later, things will still remind you of her, and while you may go out and have sex with girls, you don't want to get out of a relationship and into a new one again.
I wouldn't cling into this too much if I were you.

Keep it light. Do the same things that got you laid to see you through this. In a way this is a shit test. In the meantime I suggest (without advertising) seeing other people as well. She's gonna have to make up her own mind with this, and you getting jealous isn't going to help your case. Also I would suggest backing off just a little bit. Space is a good thing.

this. stop being needy. act like its no big deal when shes with other guys. because it isnt. make sure she sees or at least knows that youre talking to other girls too.
