Hey guys.

I am new to this forum so please forgive me if I am treading on old water or if this has been already covered but I need some advice.

I am definently not some amazing "pick-up artist"/expert or anything but I can usually hit a few clubs for a few weeks and eventually get a woman that I am interested in (i.e. a girl that I consider to be an 8 to 10 looks-wise and with the personality I tend to go for) and have her worship me for about 8/10 months or so through the entire romantic phase etc.

What I want to know is if there are certain women you should avoid completely if you want a long-term relationship.

For instance, in my instance, the last woman I dated was great in a lot of ways (actually amazing) but she had a previous history of being a pretty highly-prolific porn-star. (So yeah, it seems obvious maybe to some that this woman is bad news for anything long-term, but there is kind of long story I do not want to get into).

Anyways, she also had that whole "club girl" persona going (which I have dated alot of). I am not sure what I did wrong but around the 11-month time period, she just started to drift off. I am 80% certain this chick might have cheated on me eventually.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I dumped her and moved on. Of course, she still seems to want to continue, but my gut told me to leave so I did.

Nevertheless, I just want to take back the right lessons.

Are certain types of girls just women that can not be tamed into a long-term relationship or what? Any characteristics that you guys always avoid? Any opinions?

As Don Draper said avoid Party Girls, all other types from needy to insecure can be trainined and can be overcomed.

I hear ya on the party girl thing. I can see how to: if she is a sensation/pleasure-seeking type especially.

Unfortunately for me, these are the types of chicks you seem to run into at alot of clubs/bars. Now I might be overanalyzing it a bit, but I dont know where to draw the line sometimes. My last gf liked to party but honestly just once a week, sometimes once a month, but yeah, she was "the life of the party" when she did go out. She had drug use in her past but she would not usually get stammering drunk or anything when she went out. ANyways, I think it was doomed for the get-go because she was that type who was truly in her element in the club scene, even though she didnt always frequent them.

I find it hard to find hot women in high numbers anywhere in Toronto, other than the club scene. I'd really rather meet hot women elsewhere where they dont have those "male-attention" seeking/pleasure-seeking tendencies but I am yet to think of any plausible alternative. Its easiest place to meet chicks if you ask me.

Some people say yoga classes etc. but I tried this and the women didnt seem so great.
