hi all
i can sometimes have a jealous nature and my gf of nearly 6 monmths is not fond of it. i try not to be, but soetimes cant help it. im completely aware of how AFC it is, but am trying hard not to be. any adivce on how to kick it?

hey buddy im in a similar situation myself. Ive been dating my gf for almost 5 months now and I know I cant help myself when I get jealous. Its so hard to hold back, but I act like it doesnt bother me. However, it erupted in one situation when she apparently jokingly said "im too good for you". I was angry and she could sense it. We ended up having a serious moment and crying in each others arms because we were both so scared of losing each other.

I guess that experience has shown me that I dont think there really is a cure for jealousy. I mean..a little bit of jealousy is a good thing! It shows you care about her! I know after being in a relationship for some time, my usually strong self-confidence around woman has diminished. Its important to trust each other and talk about your feelings with one another so they dont get bottled up. Also I feel like gaming a bit on the side (i mean just talking with other girls and flirting) would help gain back some of your self-confidence and help you remember how good of a catch you are! i came to a realisation about my own jealous nature and it was the fact that i was in a way afraid of someone else coming along that was in her eyes better, i just figured that i need to put the best of my best out there and then also realised that that if the situation does arise that i must just hav better game than them, jealousy is something that u hav to deal with because its your own issue within yourself and even tho it raises its ugly head every now and then u do need to find a way to control it.
