Hey man, I haven't really got any experience with this particular problem so my advice may not be the best. What I have heard though, from people I spoken to, is that David Shade is the man to go to. Ignore the hypnotic elements of his work (at least for the time being) and focus on the mechanics.
This is just to give you an idea, the real learning takes place alone with your girl.
