The best route is to attend a seminar that has Richard Bandler or John Grinder's sign-off on it (they discovered NLP). There are tons of books at amazon, and even some other companies that offer great seminars. The main thing is to realize it has so much more to offer than just dating. NLP is extremely useful for yourself and others. Be cautious and careful with it. I think every NLPer that has used the methods for pick-up has at least one "stalker" story to tell.
I'd recommend reading up on Milton Erickson. NLP as a seduction tool is based a lot on his language patterns and uses. After the basics are covered, then consider moving into SS or some other NLP-related seduction method.
