hypnosis
anchoring
NLP
and some kind of stencil of how to do them - so i can start myself off??

In my experience NLP is just applied psychology.
It works on the idea that no one does something for no reason. For every stimulus there is a response. This works both ways. So, in theory, you can reinforce a response (joy, laughter, salivation) by associating it with a given stimulus (snapping your fingers, ringing a bell).
Using hypnosis, in the stage sense, is best left to magicians working a crowd. Since hypnosis is a voluntary process, meaning you won't be able to hypnotize someone who is on their guard, the same effect can be achieved using a series of complacency tests. If your goal is to get someone to feel comfortable around you quickly, a combination of these is a good way to start.
