Ok i am with this girl with some daddy issues.Her father died and she mises him vert much.I think that has alot ot do with how she choses men and how she handels her relationships.So i was thinking of doing a nlp pattern with her like this.I am sorta new.
So i ask her to think of her father and all of the good and times with him.
Then i ask her to imagine the emotion and get a feel for it.And if this emotion was a object or a shape what would it be..........Square or circle maybe and if it has a color what color is it.
Then tell her it is compacting in size and growing stronger and intinsifing.Now to place it in my hand and i will hold it for her.
And i now ask her if she has a safe place in her mind.Because we all have one.A place we go when were scared........or we need to relax and calm our mind.This place can be anywear you want it to be.A beach.....a river....or even a small cozy room with a fireplace that you can huddle around and feel the safe warm heat embrace your body.And once she has this place ask her to go into it with me.
And now that she is hear in this place.........with me........nothing can hurt her.She is in complete contral of all memories and feelings.........this is your safe place.And now that you are in this place you may rememer the bad times with your father.Maybe the arguments you had with him..........or the time when he died and the way that made you feel and remember you are in you safe place........and nothing can hurt you, you are..........in control.And now i want you to take all of the bad memoies you have and visulize them going into a gray or dark collored ball.And all of there power are going into that ball.It is slowly compacting in size and growing smaller........and smaller.Now place your hands six inches apart.
(one she does this i cup my hands over hers.Now together we will throw out that gray ball of the bad memroies.Then i throw her hands up and pretend to throw it out.
Now all of the power from the memoies are gone.
Now think back to the blue ball (or watever she said it was) that has all of the good and positive memoires in them.I will now give it back to you..........and as i do this you may feel a sudden rush of all the good memoires and emotions that come with them.And when you think back now about your dad..............the only memoies that have any power are the good ones........and all of the bad memories are just empty gray spaces with no power.
So what i was going for is somthing like the october an man pattern but achoring her father with me.So when she misses her father she will want me.
And dont judge me lol
