hi puas

yesterday i tested my first pattern, trying to create a deeper connection with the girl I was talking to (it was my own variation of the "instant connection" pattern of RJ).

the thing I noticed is that I find more easy to perform patterns if i deliberately interrupt them to make it more natural:

i start with the introduction, weasel phrases and usually 2 commands to get her attention; after the 2 embedded commands i usually use cocky and funny statements to make the conversation flow in a more natural way and then i continue with the pattern.

the cocky and funny statements are usually referring to our interaction so far.

so the question is: is the interruption weakening the strenght of a pattern? should the pattern(either canned or on the fly) be delivered in one session or is something that you can do with many pauses?

Interrupting a pattern is called *refractionation" by keeping the pattern going after the interrupt it strengthens it.

yeah i thought it might have been a form of fractionation, but i don't change/stop the pattern completely.

RJ advices to keep the patterns as general as possible. what i do is, after i've been describing the emotional state i want to lead her to, i introduce an example/joke from our interaction in order to keep the pattern as light as possible and also because i always try to deliver it naturally.

IMO Patterns should be personal and that also means that they should flow naturally with your personality.

since i'm quite new to this stuff, what do you guys think?

as already stated, when you interrupt your own patterns, you are fractionating..it's better and easier to think of it as taking a girl out of trance and then putting her back into a trance later when you continue the pattern.

Why would you want to do this? Well, the first time you put a girl into a light trance, even if she consciously WANTS to go deeper, her subconscious mind will not allow her to do that because it's not (yet) familiar with you, so you purposely take her out of the trance. And, the next time you put her into a trance, since her subconscious mind is already familiar with you taking her into it, it will allow her to go even deeper.

Here's an example of me doing it infield:

Yes also, it's good you want to make it personal, and you also want to use something hypnosis circles call, "being artfully vague." This is where you speak about experiences without being overly specific. Instead of "Don't you love beaches? I mean..." you could say, "When you imagine your ideal get away, what's it like?"

You want to get them to make the meaning. You can also do this by implying things. The great thing about implication is that the woman will actually make the meaning in her mind, thus thinking the thought herself, and feeling as if she came up with it.

Presuppositions are fantastic for this. Ex: "Before you grow even more excited about going out with me tonight, I just wanted to say..." This presupposes or implies lots. Mainly she is going to go out with you later.

Another thing you could do if you don't want to do a whole pattern is to listen for trance words. Or words the girl says with some form of emotion. Then feed them back to her. Ex: "What's most fulfilling to you about writing?" Her, "Well I love the creativity and passion it brings. (Let's say she leaned on passion)

Then you could feed it back in a little bit. "You know what I love about x? Is that sense of passion. You know when you are feeling that strong sense of passion, with me, I think that..." Great work so far man, keep it up! :)

I'm learning Speed Seduction at the moment. I agree with most of the responses about fractionation from what I've learned so far. If you cut the thread and move onto something else I'm not sure what that would be unless you went back into the patterning. I think Ross Jeffries refers to this as a Pattern Interrupt and fractionation is as already described; taking them into trance leading them out and putting them back into trance even deeper.

I actually tried it like that once. It did seem to fractionate every time I started back up. I didn't even realize that that's what it was. I've even done it without using the entire pattern, it still works, you just have to get them into state.
