Hay guys, so I recently found out about the OMS and "forbidden" patterns, before I get to the point I just want to say:

1.I'm not looking to find out how to do it with this thread, or any other "forbidden" patterns.

2. I'm not promoting their us.

What I hope fom this thread is that you can give me advice, like can I use them? If so when would be an appropiate circumstance? Should I avoid them all together? What are the benefits/dangers?

I hope to keep this thread respectful, and if we have different oppinions, to not call someone wrong. After all we have a right to an oppinion. Sure debates are ok, as long as its RESPECTFUL, I know this can be a very controversial topic. What I hope to gain from this is to see different peoples percpectives to help make my own.
