Ok I started reading the SS book. . . . Call me skeptical but is there anyone here who can tell me how well this worked? Did it work at all? To what degree? Im wanting to learn all the different forms of PUA, and have been starting on the mystery method. Does NLP fit into this well? Is there a better instructional book than ross jeffries SS?

I remember seeing Jeffries in action on a Louis Theroux documentary about hypnotism. If the woman wasn't a plant then his material worked fucking incredibly. And if Neil isn't lying in The Game then that sugar packet trick he did with the waitress sounded amazing.

However, I just find this stuff way too weird personally. I can't picture myself going up to a girl in a club and saying shit like "if that energy was a colour which would it be?" and whatever else.

I'm open minded though and seeking to learn some of this area of game over the summer as a change of pace from direct and indirect.

You shouldn't learn NLP from a PUA or specifically for PUA. You should learn NLP to learn NLP. It's kind of like music. You don't learn to play drums to pick up chicks, you learn drums because you want to hit stuff, make music, and it becomes a passion after that. The girls are just an added bonus.

I started learning about NLP/hypnosis because I liked learning how the mind works. I'm a psychology major if that puts it into perspective. If you just try to learn 'NLP' or seduction based techniques specifically for PUA you will really miss out on a lot of the great stuff NLP really has to offer. I'd recommend something like 'Introducing NLP' by Joseph O'Connor.

Does it work? I think it does, but I have gotten myself into some pretty bad situations because I didn't have the confidence and inner game to back up what my outer game was giving me. Which is why I mainly focus on using NLP for myself to increase confidence, un-anchor negative feelings in memories, ect.

I agree with Sopherium, NLP shouldn't be learned for the purpose of pick-up. Also, as I've constantly pointed out, Language Patterns by and large are passe and unneeded... also they're difficult to use for approaches. I've occasionally used them and gotten the successful results they said. But, when you begin to study hypnotic language, you'll learn that the true power of hypnotic language is not in the hypnotic story, but in powerful hypnotic language that opens the mind to suggestion. It's so amazing how, when you know a few simple words, people's minds open up because the words easily slide through the unconscious mind.

Also, it's extreme easy to learn and begin to utilize these simple words.

But there are far more powerful techniques that NLP teaches, how to utilize body language, how to match and mirror, how elicit information, and how to utilize the feedback you get--not the words, the beliefs and emotions, so that one can truly link the person's values to yourself..

Courses I recommend The Art of Covert Hypnosis By Steve Peliari. Igor Ledochowski The Power Of Conversational Hypnosis. go to legalsounds type in Kenrick Cleveland and two of his courses there. Though these are all around language.

The most powerful book that I've read better than any seduction text, program, boot camp, better than any hypnosis program is The Forbidden Keys To Persuasion by Blair Warren.

But, if you're interested in language patterns, want a book about the most effective of them, check out Mind Control Language Patterns by Dantalion Jones available on Amazon.

Great post Raiden2k2 . It seems you're way more research and knowledgeable in NLP/hypnosis than I am. I was reading reviews on amazon about the mind control pattern book. Some people said that it was the same information just rehashed out. Have you read any of the Kevin Hogan books? (science if influence/persuasion ect). I own a couple of them, but I haven't gotten around to reading them yet. I got caught up with some other books first.

Kevin Hogan is great, his information is solid, though, The Science of Influence is just a more updated Psychology of Persuasion.

If you want to know language patterns, Mind Control Language Patterns is still a great book, those who criticize it, I feel, haven't really read it, and you'll get a great deal of information.

Kevin Hogan also released a brilliant update to an old ebook, Covert Hypnosis. You can find it at Coverthypnosis.net, it's got a sixty day moneyback guarantee, so you can get it, read it, and then get your money back if you don't like it. This book is very well worth it, with solid information and principles.

Ahh alright good stuff. I was looking reading some reviews on amazon of some of the books. I really don't understand why there is such a mix of good vs bad reviews. Although since I do expect you to be a human and you really seem to know what you're talking about I'll give them a read. I was thinking about started the science of influence tonight. Anyway thanks for you help Raiden2k2.

I've started reading "The February Man". I believe a lot of NLP comes from there and the work of Milton H. Erickson.

Also I don't believe that speed seduction is mind control as I don't believe that you can make someone feel things they don't want to. For example I can tell you a joke, but if you don't find me funny you won't laugh no matter how funny the joke is. So I can tell a woman all this subversive sexy stuff to try and get her turned on, but if she doesn't find me attractive on at least some basic level, it ain't ever going to work.

Great post Raiden. Very interesting stuff and a lot of good recommendations. I'm always curious to learn more about language patterns and their effects.

I agree with what others have said. Using NLP *only* to dip the wick is a waste of material. And NLP patterns designed to help with that really require a decent understanding of NLP to really pull off- assuming you aren't reading a script.

Script readers may have some success. But since they do not understand what they are doing- results are spotty or destructive.

A good understanding of NLP combined with natural game can be completely devastating in the wild.

But also understand- learning NLP will change *you* for the better.

When I first learned frames in the 1990s just *that* single concept changed everything. Because all of us have frames. Finding out how to change them changes everything.

My 2 cents, NLP is not something for you to use just as an opener, you must be either mid game or first date type of thing to use it. Getting to know someone and having them emotionally connect is what makes NLP Perfect. You can use it at clubs but not idle. Have the women in a better scene for example on a Beach, restaurant with nice music, at your home with lights dimmed. Set the mood and NLP will work. :)

a lot of nlp comes from milton ericson you have to remember that he would use a lot of confusing statements that take people inside themselves after this he would give the commands that we can use to pick women up - you just have to be confident saying this stuff
