I started watching it yesterday and I find quite interesting how he uses NLP and sort of things to cold read people.
I mean its not that deeply down about all this stuff but its quite entertaining to see stuff you've read about.

Worth of watching for those who are looking for a good tv show.

The Mentalist is a decent show that touches on many things inluding memory techniques, NLP, cold reading, and some other.... but like you said it lacks depth.
