I asked them if they liked guys who speak very well and can move their emotions.
They responded as if I asked them if they like crack cocaine + heroine.

I just thought this was interesting info for us newbies in NLP.
I can't wait until I actually start using this shit on chicks.
I'm like giggling with glee. I'm getting a rush just from thinking about it.
I've always been interested in the human brain and how it works, plus
a lot of interest in psychology too.

I'm not even an NLP newb, I have yet to begin learning about it whatsoever... But I will, my prejudices have been removed by reading some discussions of it on this site.
Cool that girls confirm they like it. The most negative girl spelled qualities "calities" and therefore can be dismissed as moronic. 8)
Last post was interesting though, she said she would be bothered if she learned these abilities were practiced by someone who had learned them, and was able to manipulate... so I guess it important not to use NLP in some form that goes beyond persuasion - manipulation, I think, is the where it crosses the line, and this girl picked up on that without even knowing she was talking about NLP.
Interesting little survey I thought, cheers!
D.

So far I have read and listened to several different ss/nlp materials.
It is a very deep & fascinating topic about how the human brain works and how to manipulate it with words. It's awesome. I've learned about so many weird new things such as "presuppositions" and "remapping" and "symbols." It's like knowing how to reach inside and change someone's soul. Wow.

Hahaha, what she forgets is that people manipulate each other all the time - consciously or unconsciously. She shouldn't place judgement value over something that she herself likely does from time to time.

Did anyone else spot the answers were in 3 broad categories

1. the girl thinks it's too smooth and must be PU
2. the girl is desperate to find that sort of man without question
and
3 the girl who thinks it's cool but wants the man to have more to him than that

First off.

heroine: her*o*ine [her-oh-in] -
1.a woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities.
2.the principal female character in a story, play, film, etc.

I think you meant heroin, as in the drug.

I'm not being an ass, I'm just pointing out word choice in the NLP section. It's related, and if you're serious about NLP, you should be able to notice that.

Also, poor metaphor, in my opinion. If you had asked about crack cocaine, or heroin, then you would have a VASTLY different response.

Thirdly, Yahoo! Answers... Really... If you want to know the kind of people who use Yahoo! Answers, I recommend checking out this web page http://funnyyahooanswers.com/

Now, to provide a somewhat useful response to your topic.

Duh. Of course they like it. Disregard the limiting factor of 'women' in that question, and ask it again. You then have the question "Do people like it when other people make them feel good?" Who in their right mind wouldn't like someone that makes them feel great. Think through the question, and the answer becomes obvious.
