| Okay well, here is my experience as far improving game goes, and I will illustrate it with the following "parable".
would-be PUA#1 is socially very shy and feels awkward, then picks up a bunch of NLP-related books or other, and improves his game that way.
would-be PUA#2 is socially very shy as well, but has another problem: his bedroom abilities suck, and so he picks up a book on effective love making, becoming multi-orgasmic, giving women multiple orgasms, and so on, and in the course of trying his new-found skills on a bunch of OLD girl friends his confidence in his abilities go through the roof and that in turn affects his social life and his game.
would-be PUA#3 is socially very shy, but then so happens to set up his own business and through learning to negotiate for his business and build confidence with his presentations, one-on-one meetings, etc. he builds his assertiveness, his confidence, his grasp on human psychology, and that eventually leaks into his game, improving it dramatically (not to mention the confidence the wealth gives him).
See, there is no one-route to where you want to go. NLP in my opinion should be just one of other aspects one can and should improve on, which gives your inner game a more well-rounded boost.

- ANY of David Shade's works on sexual skills
- ANY of Zan Perrion's works on Natural Game
- One eBook I am reading now called "The Secret Potency Report" by Riccardo Gueli (google it). HUGE HUGE eye-opener for me as far as the effect of diet goes on inner (and outer) game.
