I haven't tested this, but I almost used NLP on a girl before I discovered that she was studying psychology, I wonder if they can 'see' through it or it doesn't matter.

I have studied and am studying psychology to a high level. You can bet your left butt cheek they won't notice any more than the average person.

Unless you're using really obvious conversational hypnosis. Even then I doubt they'd call you out on it because broadly psychology as an academic subject does not cover NLP, or any of the concepts except anchors and hypnosis (which isn't directly related to NLP). Even then anchors are not covered, rather the mechanism behind them known as 'classical conditioning', and is simply an old skool method of learning, so you'll never be called out on an anchor even if you make it really obvious (they might just wonder why the fuck you wave your hand around ever now and then).

I've only ever been called out once on NLP and I use it a lot - that incidentally was with a psychology student, but she only realised because of her interest (and crush) on the magician Derren Brown; not because she studied psychology.

Part of using NLP in seduction, and a massive part of SS is using the techniques covertly and congruently. I recall an incident where I was using a sliding anchor pattern as an opener to this girl in a café, but I knew one of the guys already on the table. The pattern was pretty heavy in terms of the topic and kino, and the guy I knew was sort of like "Rafiel wtf are you doing haha." I just ignored him and kept going haha...

have fun!

Considering the usual beliefs I've encountered in people studying, basically anything, but in this case psychology, I'd actually be surprised if you ever got "caught" using NLP, or hypnosis for that matter.
Most people are either oblivious to the fact of hypnosis, or NLP,
Or.
They don't realize you're doing it consciously.

The few who do will most likely be using it themselves,.

Besides, you shouldn't have difficulties getting out of such a situation.
If you get caught you suddenly have lots of interesting subjects to talk about.
(Unless of course you use some really heavy patterns, which, if caught, would make you seem totally sleazy. )

right ? :P

NLP tends to avoid the realms of Psychology in academia.
Hypnotherapy is also only touched on.

Being not very offensive with using NLP and not exaggerating with it, I think there are plenty of ways you can hide it even against the person who has a knowledge over NLP.

On the other hand, i heared from my ex, whom I stay in good relation with, and who knows a lot about PUA and NLP (she made a bacheoler's title writing a work about it) knows in a few soeconds her partner is using NLP and can predict his every next movement. She also knows how to pretend, that she catches it, gaining control over the guy. So strictly stickng to the NLP tricks may be dangerous for you bwhe you come across a person who has a knowledge in the subject.

... but then again, if you use NLP without some ethics and restraints (in general using it to elicit good feelings in the counterpart) you deserve to get fucked over by a girl like that ;)

Your ex sounds like a really cool girl, Cock_roach

If I ever busted someone using patterns on me I'd mess with their heads to, wouldn't everyone ?
