This is an ad for RSD's Flawless Natural program. Although this is an ad I think it makes a pretty good point!

Pretty easy to burn down a geek really. They seem to keep forgetting about how hard it is for some people to be social and talk, have fun etc. Imo MM is another way to becoming natural. When I started out I didn't know anything to say so I ran openers and knew how and when to escalate because of the simple steps. Eventhough I'm less routines and more natural now, it helped me in the begin phase and lucky for me I had to translate all the routines so none of the targets heard them before. MM is just a way for people to understand the proces and actually give them material and I know it's only an ad, but this just isn't accurate.
Don't get me wrong I know what they mean in terms of routines vs natural. But all natural is, is hitting key points that make interactions go well, where routines likely give the same effect but people just don't think about what they're doing.

Btw I'm currently reading 60's ebooks ( @ chapter 3) and I really liked it so far. Great how he explains negative mindsets and what causes or even makes AA worse. Eventhough it's off-topic I thought I'd slip it in instead posting at your other thread, nice find, I like it.
