You've probably already seen it, but , may be you thought of it as a cool video , as a great and funny joke. Here's what I think about that " cool guys don't look at explosions" stuff.
It is a funny song , okay , but , when you watch this , you see , what is a cool guy. A cool guy , doesn't care about what is happening , he is in his world, with his rules. ( so he doesn't look at explosions , alright). Then you notice the slow motion , in fact , slow motion is here , to show us , that the guy is really calm , cool, and he is not afraid by what is happening ( explosions). They walk with a determined look , their eyes are directed to something more important than a direction. Their heads aren't looking at their feet.

Look at wesley snipes , george clooney when he is speaking with the other guy and having fun as if nothing is happening , the rock ,hugh jackman, denzel washington.
