WOW i'm baffled at how few of us(you) are talking about RUSSEL. BRAND.

He's absolutely amazing with his words and interacting with ANYONE. Not just females (Jimmy Kimmel live interview) He has an eloquence to the way he speaks and I just love it. There was a topic a few months ago that went on for a few pages about him. I know some of you are fans, but I need to recruit more of you!

quick dissection: I only saw this once a few minutes ago.
First of all, you can easily spot the kino he gives the female next to him, touching of the knee/leg every so often.
His peacocking skills are excellent. He is CONGRUENT with the outlandish dress and styling (HIS HAIR, WOW)
He obviously make them laugh (duh he's one of the best comedians out there)
He KNOWS how to turn females on and it's almost like he uses NLP in way that he trances women.

Just search "russell brand" in youtube, and he has a ton of interviews, about 3 or 4 being within 2009 (recent). I recommend watching the "forgetting sarah marshall" interview with him and the female star (he flirts heavily)

Kathie Lee Gifford (the person next to him) is totally enamored by him. Rubbing his chin? totally unprofessional! She even gets flustered! Interesting stuff. He is definitely a natural!

Not sure if he is a natural, he has defiantly read "the game" at least since he gives it a review in England.

Personally i'm not a fan of his (mentioned it in the other thread about him) I don't find him funny at all, I find his comedy a little dull.
Having said that, the man has game. Of course he has massive pre-selection due to being splashed across newspapers several times allegedy having had flings with various high value women, plus as mentioned he has peacocking going on. The biggest thing for me with him is that he is completely comfortable in his own skin, if he says something stupid it doesn't faze him at all, if he touches someones knee and they give him "the look" he blows it off as nothing and ploughs. I really think that is the key to his game.

I still don't like the man though lol.

I love the way he talks, its really enthusiastic and very magnetic, I catch myself remembering some lines and the way he say it in my head a lot of times

The amount of results that Russell gets is why he seams to win The Shagger Of The Year award and is at the point where the award has been named after him ... he's had a long list of women that only exist in most mens dreams ... so he's more girly then he is man like who cares ... his results speak for them self's I for one was a closet eye liner wearing, skinny jeans, pointy boot straight man and my inner game and seeming Russell do it has made me proud ( I tend to do a lot better then most PUA's because of this)

I love Russel Brand. Ever since I saw forgetting Sarah Marshall I tried to find his stand up comedy vids and loved those as well. He's not the funniest comedian ever but you can definitely tell there's something attractive about his personality and you can definitely tell from watching his stand ups and history that the girls love him.

on the other hand he does use a lot of self deprecation in his stand-up which I don't see how it would ever help. He often admits that he's not a very "Manly" man

Actually, Self-deprecation is the best way to demonstrate higher value if it's done humorously.

Could you demonstrate some examples for me or explain? I've always been told to avoid self deprecation because it makes you unattractive. If a girl wants a strong protector type...and Russell CONTINUALLY calls himself things like a "beater male" than to me that'd seem less attractive.


In the interest of fairness though, I've -only- seen Russell do that in his stand up comedy acts. It's slightly different on stage and performing because its his job to make the crowd laugh by any means necessary...still, girls will see the self deprecation

Your status is diminished when someone laughs at you. When someone laughs at you it is the second highest level of insult which can be hurled and it's effect increases their status whilst diminishing your own.

Let me say that again, the person or group who laugh at you obtain a higher status at the expense of your own status.

However, when you poke jokes at yourself you theoretically lower and heighten your status because you are the giver and the receiver of the insult (the laughter). The actual effect created is an aura of high status because he who can cite his own faults in a comical way is obviously not insecure and inhibited by them.


Ricky Hatton, the boxer, demonstrates this theory by calling himself Ricky Fatten because he has a habit of ballooning up between fights. This has an endearing effect on the people who observe it.
