Men, I come to you in need. I'm looking to start filming my sets so that I can break them down and improve my game. I've got a pretty devoted wing, so filming from a third person perspective is definitely an option. My question for you gentlemen is a two parter:

If any of you have any experience filming yourself in field, what camcorders or hidden cameras would you recommend I use (within a $100-$300 budget)?
And, what sort of microphone devices would you suggest I use in the event that I have my wing film me with said camcorder?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Often times quite a number of Youtubers use something known as a "GoPro" - Google that. A GoPro is a light weight and portable camera that records in HD. If you want something extremely covert then you could use something like sunglasses with a hidden camera on them. A couple of these actually work VERY well and many of them record in HD with high sound quality. Just search on google "HD Hidden Camera Sunglasses".

The quality on the GoPro is ridiculous too, but I feel like it looks really bulky and obvious looking to be used from a third person perspective. Either way, my friend actually has one for his mountain bike trials, so I think I'll try it out and see how I like it. Top marks.
