I don't even really like viewing this as humor. Misogyny and Chauvinism are very real and powerful societal forces, and I think as men who really want to bring more value to women, to be great lovers, and seducers, we should never encourage anything that devalues them. I did laugh at this, but it was with knowledge that this man is just entirely wrong-headed, and with a sadness that this is how many men feel.

Well, technically air is better than water. Because you can last maybe 2 minutes without air, but 2 days without water. But I get the point.

I found the man a quite interesting character, though I completely disagree with him. I respect the fact that he is not afraid of his opinions and stand up for himself. I lol'ed at the end, she did not expect such a comment...

Personally, I think the women in the audience went "wrong" when they put on there "bitch shields" and were out to destroy his ego after everything he said. Both sides were fighting a psychological warfare. That's why I hate these talk shows.

But I think that mutual respect and understanding is the best way to understand people in the end. Stereotypes are bullshit, that goes for men and women. We all have stereotypes but you should always look beyond that.

I entirely agree with Fin, deliberate and blind wrong-headedness is not "great frame control" this level of mysoginy has no place even being ina humor section of a seduction community. This is something we do with women, hopefully because we REALLY enjoy being with them.

Messages that cross and interfere with that purpose, model and understanding of male female relationships are at best counterproductive and at worst hurtful and manipulative to women.
