He comes off as having too much of a hidden agenda, he spends way too much time playing with the AMOG, and his delivery could use a lot of work.

The girls could obviously see through what he was doing and he failed to get a strong hook. I really liked his persistence, though.
I totally agree. IMO the attempt at gaming the girls is minimal, they're not interested. I'm a little rusty but surely opening a set such as the one he did, he would need to involve ALL in the conversation and build rapport with the group with some storytelling, DHV, negging the target.
