I'm new at this whole stuff! I'm living in montreal. I have a problem getting in and out of the friend zone, with girls i meet when i go out. The other night i was at this bar when this girl came up to my friend Valentyn. She opened him and he froze. So i took control of the set and met her friends. One of her friend was celebrating her 21 birthday...so i got her shots ( was it that much of a big mistake?). We did some small talk for maybe 10 to 15 min, talking about her studies and where she lived, she was maybe a 7.5. I couldn't get in attraction mode. She then left without saying bye or thanking me for the drinks. Should i ever get a girl a drink? When should have I switched gears!?

I think I read somewhere that 'you shouldn't buy a girl a drink before you've slept with her - I agree. I think that you might be a little too nice..do you use negs? You should make yourself look busy too and not hover around her all night long - make her ask you to stick around a little longer by telling her that you need to go do something, sort out some business...

What did she do to you in order for you to buy her a drink?! You barely know eachother.. why would a man with high value and who is preselected (has a lot of options with women) would stack his money for a girl he doesn't even know and who didn't do anything satisfying to you..keep your money for yourself!

Agree entirely with Firex ;P Don't buy women drinks it's potentially the neediest thing you can do, also chatted to enough women to know that they actually look down on guys who offer them drinks. It immediately devalues you.

One girl I got talking to the other night was a bit of a tomboy Wasn't really interested but she was really fun to hang out with, she actually tasked herself with pissing off guys and still managing to get drinks out of them. She immediately did this by throwing her empty cup at the back of a guys head, he winked back so she did it again... This actually ended up with him coming over and offering to buy her a drink >< I was amazed to be honest and a little freaked out by this revelation.

In short, no don't ever do it. No woman will respect you more for it until after you've slept with them *amusingly*

Offer her the chance to buy you a drink. Or, just pay up each his own.

If you just met a funny older man in a bar, would you buy him a drink?
