Hello all.
I found the community a few weeks ago. I admit that the show was my introduction, but I have actually been looking for this type of info for quite some time. I have no idea how I missed it. Once I new what to search for on the internet, I found that the stream of knowledge is endless.
My very brief story is that a few weeks ago, my girlfriend (of more than a year) and I called it quits. And last Friday, my divorce from my first wife was final. (No, the divorce wasn't over the girlfriend. The divorce was long and drawn out, and I couldn't wait that long for female companionship.
)
As luck would have it, I saw the last two shows on VH1 by accident, and I became intigued. After buying the two books (MM and the Game) I became excited. And after finding this forum and the wealth of knowledge out there, I became addicted.
I have yet to enter the field and attempt my first sarge (the breakup and divorce have somewhat depleted my bank account and stockpile of worldly possessions) but I am not idly sitting on my haunches.
I have done some research on palm reading and cold reading as well as begun studying such essentials as the cube, approaches, ring game, negs, and the likes.
I find all of this fascinating, and at the same time I remember instances where I stumbled upon some of these techniques during past conquests with varying results. Of course, at the time I had no idea that those flukes were actually part of a much larger picture.
As it stands, right now, I am new to all of this. At 31, I feel as though I am a little late getting started, but if not now, then when?
I don't have any questions yet, but I am certain that they will come. For now, I am trying very hard to absorb as much information as I can. I look forward to sharing experiences with all of you, and I hope to get to know some of you.
