Hey folks, I'm Dante, currently in Los Angeles, but attend college otherwise in Maryland. I'm 18, and have only recently discovered the game myself, and while I haven't done any actual pickup or practiced it, I'm exceedingly interested, and I also come with a few questions, if that's okay.

I'm currently working my way through The Game, have watched first season of The Pickup Artist, and frankly discovered pickup through a large torrent I found full of information. I had originally thought pickup was just a game for losers and creeps, but after I started doing some more research, I really began to see the glimmers of what it's really about.

If I were to ever become a PUA, I'd want some serious inner game and work from there, and if I ever had canned lines, I'd want to have a LOT of them. Otherwise, I want to be able to gain the kind of mindset and natural instinct to just rib and glib on the fly. In terms of actual experience, I've "been with" about five different girls, all with varying levels of intimacy and types of relationships, so I have a LITTLE experience. I used to be pretty damn socially awkward, but over my lifetime I've consciously made strides to fixing my social faux pas without being consciously aware of gaming.

The issue is that I've got a girlfriend, but I'm still really interested in sarging or at least applying PU tactics in a purely social manner. Not going to cheat on my chica, though. As such, I have some questions, if that's all right with you guys.

Are there any specific tips people can give me for working the social life in college? (Just noticed there is a sticky on this. Sorry.) How can gaming be applied into actual relationships? You guys obviously have some awesome stuff to utilize and I can't see that it wouldn't be used in an average relationship as well. There's the saying, "it's not lying, it's flirting", but with a sarge or a pickup, where do you draw the line between a genuine understanding with someone and lying flirting (worst case scenario, somebody calls you out on it)? Any particular tips that taken men in exclusive, honest relationships who still have an interest in PUA can offer? Any general tips?
