Before you read this you may wanna know I tend to write a lot.

Hello everyone, I am 16 a sophemore in High School. I have picked up and read parts of one of Neil Strauss books, not the game...forget what it is called. Anyways I watched the pick up artist and understand some of that stuff but I do not understand how to apply it especially in High school. I would also like to state as of right now I am on no sports teams, am not a musician, and my grades are Bs in High level courses. So...I'm just average.

Anyways since it is High School, even though my high school is somewhat large with an enrollment of 1300 kids 9-12 I still find it impossible to talk to girls for several reasons. Word gets around, and its not like at a club where maybe you say something to a girl and its dumb and you never see her again its high school I'm dealing with people on a daily basis. There are about 10 girls I have classes with(we have 4 classes a day about 20 people a class) I would like to develop relationships with but I don't know how to talk to them. This 1 girl at the end of everyday we are standing backs to each other her talking to her friends and me with mine, she seems really cool and is hot but I just don't know how to start a conversation with her. Anyways this is already very long, as many of you may remember clicks matter a lot and although I'm not the most popular guy I am well liked by a variety of people and am probably a 6 or 7 out of 10 on the popularity scale. Please ask questions and I hope this community can help.

I second the mystery method idea!

You need to develop the alpha mentality, just don't care what everyone thinks about you. YOU are enjoying YOUR life how YOU want to, if they judge you because you said something stupid once then you should have no time for them.

Just ignore anything negative and concentrate on the constructive and the positive, if a friend gives you constructive criticism then don't just blow that away but if someone just slags you off or whatever then just shrug it off. Take charge and just be the man, it will help! Also look at your body posture and see if that needs correcting, can give you great confidence if you act naturally and with good posture.

Just be confident, cocky and funny! I know I am just being vague but there is a lot of information already out there that you can check out, though I start with the mystery method if I were you.

Yeah the Mystery Method is the book I talked about...guess I should read that more thoroughly it seemed to not work too well in a high school setting though and thats the problem and...I walk well but when I talk sometimes I mumble anyone got any advice on that.
