Have you been using canned material? You should take some time to learn the core mechanics so you will understand how to generate attraction from scratch and learn to read a woman to interpret what she is thinking and feeling.

Get the basics down so that you don't need to rely on anything to stand on your own. Think of it like a piano player who can play phenominally with sheet music (material) but once the sheet music is gone the person doesn't know the fundamentals (pickup theory) to compose on their own and can't play to save their life.

You may want to also figure out which method is right for you; there is no right method for everyone. Mystery Method is great for bar and club but if you plan to do more PU in day to day life it's best to go with a more natural method that emphasises undersanding of alpha behavior and the mechanics of attraction.

You may want to give my How To Be Alpha eBook a shot. Some other excellent books I highly recommend are are Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo, Secrets of the Alpha Male and The Dating Black Book by Carlos Xuma, Without Embarrassment and She's Yours For The Taking by Mike Pilinski and Real World Seduction by Swinggcat.

Wow, you are way ahead of where I was when I was 19.

I am new, but none of the canned material (except for some of the interesting number stuff) seems right for me, you know? I've been coming up with my own routines and one-liners based on real shit from my life. It will take several times of trying it out and refining it, but it will at least be congruent.

I think the key is to understand the concept of DHVing and subtle negs, along with Mystery's microcalibration theory (the 9 phases, starting with Attraction, then Comfort, and moving into Seduction).

I'm studying my ass off harder than I did when I was in college.
