So I decided to take my time and get to know the community, read up on some of the popular liturature, and then form my own opinions and begin posting messages. I get the feeling the same questions get asked a million times.

Here's how I got introduced:

My roommate got "The Game" for Christmas from an Uncle, and I remember laughing because I had made fun of a good friend of mine a few weeks earlier because he had read the book and I thought it was ridiculous. The book sat in the box it was unwrapped from for at least two weeks until I decided to humor myself by reading the first chapter. Long story short, here I am now. Funny how one book can have such an impact.

My reasons for wanting to be a PUA:

I keep telling myself that I want to do this for the right reasons, which I believe is to boost my confidence, meet interesting people, and have fun. My #1 goal, unlike a lot of people on this site, is not to sleep with as many women as possible, though I have no problem if that's what people want to do, I'm sure most of them could teach me a thing or two.

As of right now my first big hurdle is getting over my fear of approaching women, especially HB9 and 10's. hopefully this step won't take too long, but since I've lived my whole life with this fear, I'm sure it will take longer than a weekend to overcome, gotta look at the big picture I guess.

Best advice I can give as far as yer approach, start talking to everyone and anyone at Random, but make sure you don't come off crazy... You seem like a smart fellow so you just need the balls to speak ya know... If you believe you will then you WILL!!!
