I probably wouldn't start with pick up lines until you build up your confidence. To be honest (#TBH), pick up lines don't always work the way we want them to either. I would suggest you try and make the girl laugh. Wen you can make them happy and laugh with you, they are more attracted to you.
Now not saying you should use funny pick up lines, nor am I saying that you shouldn't either. But what I can tell you is that 6 guys I spoke to all said that these lines helped them out with their game. Now I don't know if this will work for you, but I know you should give it a try.
The man who can handle rejection the greatest is the ultimate pick up master. When you stop putting VAG on a pedestal and have a mentality of "they are lucky to have me", is when you will be successful.
