Hey Guys,

Just finished reading up on a lot of the recommended books I found of this site, started with Dale Carnagie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and just ended with "The Attraction Code" by Vin DiCarlo (However my reading certainly wont be ended here). I'm 21 next month and I was thinking to myself that for 3 out of my last 4 years I've been in a relationship and once that ended(over a year ago) I found myself completely unprepared for the single life. Only a few of my friends seem to be able to pull on nights out and I'm lucky if its once every three months.

I realized that I'm in a special place right now in college, I attend college(In Ireland) where there is a eight to one ratio of girls to guys(I'ts mainly a teacher college but also offer liberal arts degrees(What i'm studying)). I'm in my second year now and since the first day of first year I have befriended and created the inner circle of what you could only call the most popular and sought after people in college(complete accident, we honestly just share a common annoyance of everyone else). I often go out with them and they try and set me up with their outer circles but that not what I want. I want my own marks and my own victories, I dont want someone pity or sympathy, I want to make this on my own.

So this is why I come here, for guidance and the support of ye, i'm ready to learn.

DR

Welcome, Dennis. Sounds like you're coming from the right place with all this.

In addition to those books you've read (both great), I also recommend The Alabaster Girl by Zan Perrion and my book (of course).

Have fun!
