Many years ago I ran private Poker games for rich pricks. This particular night in question was for young tech entrepreneurs who had made it before they left university. I rented out a ViP room at a local Casino to host such events. It was just a social game for them & they were throwing around wads of £50 notes like they were napkins in McDonald's.

Near the end of the night, I was chatting with yet another one of the pretty waitresses, she was very smiley & kept coming back. When she finally left, the tech millionaire who led this group sat next to me.

Tech "your a wannabe player"
Me "Excuse me?"
Tech laughed, "you might fool everyone else that your charming & witty around women. But I see that underneath, that your afraid & nervous"
Me: *astonishment*
Tech "the reason I see this in you, is because i too suffer from these inhibitors. Or at least I did suffer from them. Am I wrong, because if I am, I apologise"
Me: Laughs "your right, I've always been like this. I appear to be great around women. Other men, including my friends believe i have a lot of women in my life. But the truth is, I never have. What I've experienced with women was simply down to luck & chance"
Tech: Smiles "I have a book, I want to give it to you. It helped me in ways I couldn't imagine. Maybe it can help you in the same way it helped me. I know just from talking to you tonight that your way too smart to not benefit from this"
Me: "No thanks, I'm not really...."
Tech: "Just take the book, trust me. It was made for people like us"

After this encounter, I entered the world of PUA. I brought books, watched videos, met PUAs in the field. But before i could even get good or bad, lol. I landed myself in a long term relationship. But this strange world never left my heart & always intrigued me. But I now had no need for it. When I'm in love, I'm completely content.

Now, I am single and enjoying it. I'm ready to learn of to become a Pick Up Artist. Considered & Consistent.

However, upon re-entry to this community. I see a lot has changed. Notably, 2 things & they are both connected. First is that PUA has gained a very, very bad name for itself, both inside & out. Secondly, the introduction of a lot of Dick Heads. I'm going to call these PUd, Pick Up Dickheads. These two things I really hope to avoid as much as possible.

I'm just starting out, i'm sorting out meets. So over the next few months i should be getting my opening experience started. Also, I'm very interested in organising MeetUps just to study theory together, like a study group.
