I've just started dating after coming out of a serious relationship. I went for a few drinks with a girl and accidentally texted her during the date a message which was intended for another girl. Whilst she went to the toilet my face went bright red but I thought I'd tell her the truth instead of some bs. At first she was taken aback saying she wouldn't have looked at her phone until she got home so why tell her that. The date ended well and ive got a second date we've both made a joke of the incident.

I had a better time than any date where I have behaved myself and done all the stereotypical dating etiquette. The less effort you put into the date seems to work and most importantly I enjoyed it instead of feeling bitter after putting in the effort paying and performing like a monkey.
