Okay so, I'm 18 from Sydney, Australia and I'm turning 19 this April, I am in the process of an Australian Defence Force application to become an Aircraft Technician in the Air force.
So I graduated in 2014 from High School and have been working part time/casual making decent money for the last 6 months or so and plan to continue doing so until my enlistment date one the 19th of April 2016.
The last few weeks I have been second guessing the defence force path right now. I think I want to travel and maybe move to somewhere around London for a couple of months this year and experience some other countries before I join.
My thinking is that it would be better to do it now when I have minimal responsibility rather than just deciding one day later on in life when I have a house and family to look after.

If anyone has moved to London before any tips on cost of living, job ideas and pointers would be greatly appreciated!
