Firstly, I am 34 year old. will be 35 in 2 months.

I am very interested in the science of attraction and psychology of dating.

My culture doesn't allow me to date we are required to just get married and then have sexual love making when that happens. We are encouraged to just get married within our own religion and not encouraged to marry outside of our religion. We are not allowed to date and not even a single glance or gaze at a woman who is hot looking is forbidden. Why am I telling you all this and how is this relevant to my intro??

I want to share this with everyone because even though these are the requirements I have broken the rules, I have dated, I have kissed I have even fornicated.

The reason I am here is not to become a player per se, but I still talk to women that I meet online, Yes I have asked women out in person and I have been flaked 2 times with fake numbers.

The good thing about me is that when i am given a NO I don't take it personally but instead I feel satisfied knowing that I took the chance and it feels great to ask anyways. I have asked women out over the phone, I have asked women out through fast food drive thrus, and I have asked women out in local stores like Office Max at the cashier's desk.

Currently I do more of craigslist where I get phone numbers easily. The caveat is I either have to be a white boy or black but Asian is one of those rare ones that women on that are rarely seeking. Yes I am Asian (Indian).

Anyways, I am here because I am frustrated with how I could have 4 numbers from 4 different women and all of them basically sinking in the sea and fading out. It starts out well but then I just can't build that rapport. What really bugs the shit out of me most is that I get alot of LOL replies to things I say.

When I make a woman laugh, it just happens when I am being serious but when I am trying to be funny there is a "LOL" reply. Last time I had sex or even made out was back in 2009!!

I am not looking to become a player. I would rather find a woman that I could see myself with in a long term relationship that has my characteristics and will love me unconditionally.

I feel PUA is not to get laid but an art in itself a science to the mentality of the woman; once you have access to this tool, manipulation and seducation is natural as singing your ABCs.

This world may not be for you. Or you may find that you can incorporate parts of it... But it all starts with actually interacting with real girls... not just online profiles and text messages.

Get out and talk to real people. That's the only way you're going to learn.

Appreciate the honest feedback. I am no expert or pro with women and dating partly to blame for is my religious customs I was raised in. Catfish is a term I never heard of so I'd need to educate myself with the lingo.

My social anxiety prevents me from talking to real people and I am not ready to leap out of my comfort zone. I am not asking for the meaning of LOL in a text. I know what "lol" means it is just that the 'lol' being used is not because they are literally laughing out loud it is because they have 'no comment' I think you already knew that.

I only stick with online profiles because I am not comfortable talking with real women. I don't think I am going to be doing this as a long haul honestly because in my culture I am supposed to marry a woman from my religion by end of next year. I may sound like a child but it is the truth that I am not a man but just a child because of my overbearing over protective mom who has made me a product due to lack of independent exploration of the outside life out there.

I am only here to consider other options and if it doesn't work out with this 'woman' I am expected to be in a relationship with, I will most likely just leave and find someone more suitable for me that would match to my personality and likes and is also going to be good looking.
