Hi, So I work in retail and I wouldn't say I have approach anxiety at all as its part of my job to approach all sorts of people.

Although I like to approach the HBs the most

My area of development outside of work would be openers and making conversation. I am an introvert at heart so conversation isn't my strong suit, unless its something im interested in and I hate small talk.

Ive been reading some material on here and am doing the newbie mission. So far I popped into town today briefly to pay in some cheques and did say hi to one girl as we walked past each other. But she looked pretty miserable and socially awkward, although she did look cute. I also got a smile from another woman which was nice. Other then that town was strangely quiet with not much people about. I didnt get a chance to say hi to any others. But I am going to be going to the supermarket this afternoon and will try it again.
