My name is raphael and i joined the game 2 years before. i did it out of pure desperation to be honest (because my relationship wasnt working out). although i read and learn this stuff for quite some time, i never really went out sarging. i just used it in normal conversations.
now i moved to the biggest city in austria and i try to start new!
i kind of like the conversation centered style and i hate clubs (this is something i am working on).
My biggest struggles are at closing any of my sets, because im always just the "funny" guy....
any suggestions?

Humor is tricky.

You need to ensure to not make a joke which is reactive. Funny guys tend to make quick comments and remarks on reaction to other people. I would say your best bet is too ensure you are not reacting to other people.

You should also be escalating harder. More advances. This prevents you from coming off as just a funny guy.

Agreed. You can initiate kino within 1 second of meeting the girl. Hand on arm for example. Have a reason for doing so though.
