The PUA-universe used to be my breakfast, lunch and supper, until I realized gaming in and off itself can't provide me with fulfilment.
Don't get me wrong, I've become more attractive, presentable, socially comfortable man because of my journey in the PUA-universe.
And for that I will be eternally grateful.
However, I have come to the realization that gaming is a skill to be mastered so that you can enjoy choice in your life and not that you are defined by gaming.
Many, like myself, fell into the trap of thinking that gaming will undo everything that is messed up in our lives.
It doesn't. You can still be a lost cause living in your parents basement pulling 9's and 10's but how sustainable is that?
Once I started getting decent results from gaming, that burning desire to close every set that moves dissipated and the rest of the world and life came back into focus.
Now I'm in a space in my life where I can focus on my career, family and friends AND CHOOSE whom I allow into my life and for how long they get to enjoy my world.
Isn't that what life's about - freedom of choice?
The alternative is settling for whatever slop life decides to toss your way.
I've made my choice, what's yours?
