At first I didn't really think that I'd be able to relate to this book, but as I read on and the book started introducing the characters and finding out more about each personality type I started realizing, hey, these guys aren't really all that different from me! They've all got their flaws, and God knows I've got mine. Which is exactly what made want to get into this "secret community".
Not really sure of what to say on the topic of introducing myself here, but I guess I could say that I'm just an average easy going kinda guy, who always seems to find myself getting stuck in the "friend zone" every time I try to make an approach a girl that I like. I guess my main problem is building the confidence I need to approach a random girl that takes my fancy and pick her up, or at least get a number/kiss close.
Among the many things that I hear from girls that I do try to hit on is "You're a really nice/cute guy" or the words every guy dreads to hear is "I just like you as a friend".
As of today, I've made it my mission to change that about myself. I want to be the confident alpha male that I know I can be and finally get some happiness in my life...

Finish the book then look up some of the more guided books(MM, Natural, 60days or whatever anyone would suggest) then come to the forums for advice when you start to put all this to test otherwise you'll be learning things with zero context and getting good advice that's bad for your situation.

And just to add to my earlier post, I realized that I haven't actually introduced myself properly. So to rectify that, I'm 31 from Bahrain and just recently got in to PUA, (Only been reading the book for 4 days so far) although haven't actually tried anything on the field yet (gotta do my homework first), so not really sure on what methods I'm leaning more towards yet.
As for hobbies/passions, I've been in to Capoeira for the past 5 years now and loving it, its definitely boosted my confidence socially, but I'm still lacking when it comes to one on one with the opposite sex.
As for my goals in all this... I guess what I'm really looking for is to be able to reach a deeper level with a girl that I've just met. I mean I'm fine with meeting girls in social environments, but my problem is keeping the conversation going. Or at least keep it interesting and not having to just stand there with nothing else to say.

I think your goals are admirable. Wanted to let you know that for a long time I would get into the friendzone with attractive girls I fancied. I've only been seriously gaming for 6 weeks, but in that time I'm gained confidence and composure that has stretched beyond picking up women. As well as dating some very hot women. My advice - find some guys you can game with that you actually get on with, and constantly review your progress.
Enjoy. _________________ "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take," Wayne Gretzky
