I've been studying pick up for about a year and a half. I'm 31 (fortunate to look a lot younger) and I've been reasonably successful with women but really by chance rather than design.

Had a serious dry spell a couple of years ago, didn't get near a girl for nearly two years after coming out of a LTR. Read The Game and went on to read a lot of the material recommended i.e. dog training, mean genes, ultimate power, superior man and read a lot of online material.

Learnt some basic techniques such as negs, reducing the number of texts I send, learning how to use body language, started working out more, cut off a lot of girl "friends" that I had been trying to sleep with unsuccessfully for far too long and generally changed my attitude from "girls are amazing" to "I am amazing".

Practiced on online dating sites to build up my confidence then started putting a few techniques into practice in real life. Quickly started getting somewhere with girls I previously would have considered "out of my league". Wanted a LTR and ended up with the option of three girls who I would say where all HB8s, although I know that's a subjective statement.

Picked the one I liked the most and gamed her pretty well. Built a lot of attraction and had her in the palm of my hand, but I got complacent and reverted to AFC behavior. Got dumped.

Went NC for 2 months, got her back, reverted to beta man again, got dumped again... That's when I realized that game doesn't end in an LTR and I needed to re-learn and practice again.

I'm still a recovering AFC but I'm putting in the effort to get what I want, which is lots of options with attractive women. I am working hard on my inner game, reading loads, meditating, working out, eating right, trying to get a better career and I have signed up to this to be more committed and to hopefully record my progress over the coming years.

Anyway, that's my introduction. Hope to be contributing a lot more as I've been a passive observer who has gained a lot from other guys on here without giving back and that's going to change as I know how helpful this community has been for me!
